We're teaming up with Fredericton-based photographer Lance Kenneth Blakney and Surface Designer Dee Wilkie to create DEFINE: a photo series and short video about battling mental illness.

This project aims to show a real, and raw, visual representation of what it is like to battle with each mental illness represented in The Bracelet Project. The series will be artistically crafted and styled, using different coloured hand-dyed silk to convey the emotions and challenges faced by individuals struggling from these disorders.

We are currently casting Role Models who are willing to participate in this visual representation of illness, as well as share some of their story for the DEFINE video. Models will most likely be asked to wear a black body suit and or tight black clothing. No body size/type is required.
We are still casting individuals personally affected by each of the following:

  • Addictions
  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Schizophrenia

All other selections (for ADHD, Anxiety, Eating Disorders, Mood Disorders, Survivors of Sexual Assault) have been chosen and will be contacted shortly.
